Although the Dandy Dog Company has been around for quite a few years now, we have undergone such a big change this year that I feel we should get reacquainted and introduce ourselves again.
So, a big Hello from me, Louise or Lou whichever you prefer. I am the driving force behind Dandy Dog along with my two Labradors Meg and Henry. We live in a small town on the Jurassic coast in Dorset and my studio space is a log cabin in my garden and if I stand on the decking I can see beautiful Swanage Bay, perfect for my tea breaks. I originally trained as a Theatrical Wigmaker and worked in a London based studio for many years making wigs for Hollywood films and London theatre productions and travelled abroad regularly for this job. 6 years ago our family decided to move to the tranquil South West of England and we have settled into a slower pace of life and absolutely love it!
I design all the products and then carefully select artisans and small companies to help me make our high quality range. I do still get behind the sewing machine (you can't keep me away) and all our Neckerchiefs are made by me and I still do all the personalisation of your blankets and feeding mats too.
This year has seen us undergo a complete rebrand and the unveiling of our super new logo and website. We chose to do this as our product line has changed so much we felt we needed to better represent who we are and what we do.

Although our logo and website has changed our ethos has not, our motto remains the same 'Beautiful and Practical'.
